    Search tips
The 1,250 titles can be searched in a variety of ways. 'Keyword anywhere' is a free search field. By clicking the arrow-box in that field, you get the options to search by Title, Place, Language, Country, Area, or Order nr.; or a combination of these. Selecting Language, Country, or Area automatically results in a browse list, where you can select (and combine) the categories of your interest only. Related titles are marked by hyperlinks to allow for speedy navigation through the database.

Example: Combining 'Germany' and 'Hebrew', reveals that IDC Publishers can supply 5 Hebrew language newspapers, published within the borders of present-day Germany.

    Note:
Language and Country have been standardized by using the Library of Congress codes (see: http://www.loc.gov/marc/countries/cou_home.html and http://www.loc.gov/marc/languages/langhome.html).

You can send any result to IDC Publishers to obtain price information.

    Additions:
IDC Publishers intends to add several new datasets to the existing Newspaper database. Such expansions will be announced at IDC Publishers' website (www.idc.nl), in various publications and on listservers/discussion lists. Should you want to be informed of such expansions, please contact us.

    Feedback:
We greatly appreciate your feedback on this search interface. We also invite you to inform us of titles that can be added to this list, or of runs of historic newspapers that you know could be microfilmed and/or scanned.
