The project aims to gather the key primary sources and reference tools on the
history of British and Irish Methodism from its beginnings in the late 1730s to 1932.
In selecting both manuscript and printed sources for the project, priority has been given to sources
of known scholarly interest and value which are difficult or impossible to obtain in major research libraries.
