[IDC-R-10,655]

An extensive directory of personal and family papers in state repositories throughout the USSR. Far from comprehensive, however, it excludes CPSU, Defense, and Foreign Ministry archives, and omits coverage of repressed individuals and many from non-Russian republics. The third volume covers many not listed earlier, but again is far from complete. An updated, expanded version is long overdue.
